The province has officially introduced legislation to implement HST relief on eligible new construction homes. This means qualified buyers could receive substantial HST rebates directly through the purchase process, helping reduce upfront costs on new builds.
The proposed changes apply to a wide range of new homes including detached homes, semis, townhomes and condos, and are not limited to first-time buyers.
